Birch is known for it's great strength and exquisite beauty.  It is one of the earliest to sprout in the spring and therefore represents BIRTH and RENEWAL.  It is associated with community as well as individuals as it is always found growing in "stands" with many others signifying SUPPORT and SAFETY

Birch is linked to Norse rune Berkand and Beith (Ogham), as well as Norse goddesses Frigg, Freya, Idunna, and Hel.
Birch is a natural diuretic and can be made into tea.  It is a known detox for kidneys and muscles.  The bark can be used to quickly start a fire, will ignite even when soaking wet and is known to have saved many lives in crisis situations.

I do this as a hobby and want your experience to be positive as well as my own. NOTE:  I am not on EBAY every day and I work a lot of hours so if you want it fast, shop elsewhere.  I usually get on once a week and ship out on Saturdays.  I do not provide tracking as I send these in old recycled cards and use a regular non machinable ($.80) stamp.  Tracking on a domestic cards is .99 minimum.  So, to keep our costs low and shipping easy, please be patient and provide positive feedback as soon as you receive your items.  Sometimes after shipping, I do not get back to the computer to mark as shipped but it is usually in 5-10 days.
