Origin and History:
The bay tree is indigenous to Asia Minor, from where it spread to the Mediterranean and then to other countries with similar climates. According to legend the Delphi oracle chewed bay leaves, or sniffed the smoke of burning leaves to promote her visionary trances. Bay, or laurel, was famed in ancient Greece and Rome.
Bay leaf, also called laurel leaf, leaf of the sweet bay tree, Laurus nobilis, an evergreen of the family Lauraceae, indigenous to countries bordering the Mediterranean.
How to Use:
A hot cup of bay leaf tea can be very comforting. The aromatic fragrance that the leaves release is calming and the essence of the spiced tea makes bay leaf tea delicious.
Prepare tea with bay leaves, add bay leaves to their baths, or crush bay leaves into a skin cream. Bay leaves have also been used by some to treat gas, dandruff, joint pain and boils (for which bay leaves have been used topically on the skin).
Burn at home to relieve anxiety, reduce inflammation, boost immune system, increase alertness, open respiratory system and increase mindfulness.

We use USPS First Class or USPS Priority (whatever is more cost effective or requested). Combined shipping is available and is automatically calculated by eBay, however if any excess shipping is collected we will refund the difference back to the buyer.
