Wall Pocket Cherry Blossoms Basket Weave Design Cut Out Edge Cobalt Rim Vintage

Description

A nice vintage pottery wall pocket with orange and blue cherry blossoms on a yellow basket weave design, triangular cut out top edge, cobalt blue top rim.  Marked Made in Japan on back.  Approx  7" X 5-1/2", approx 3-1/2" X 5-3/4" across top rim, approx 4-1/2" X 2-1/2" opening, approx 3-3/4" depth to cut out edge, approx 4-3/4" to cobalt rim, stands out approx 2-3/4" off of a wall.  There are some signs of age/use/wear.  A few imperfections in the pottery, just the way the piece was made/age.  A small area on the left side cobalt rim where the color did not take and shows the pottery underneath, just the way it was made.  There are no chips.  There is crazing in the color.  Some color/enamel fade/loss in areas.  Some wear on the back rim.  All shown in pictures.  A nice vintage wall pocket.  Sold as is.
