    Description

If you own a back-clamping Singer Model 66 this may be the collection for you!
This auction features the back-clamping style feet which are used with the Model 66-1, including the machines with the lovely "red eye" decorations.  This set includes
    6 feet
which are shown in a manual which I have on my computer for the Model 66-1.  They were probably included with a machine at the time of sale and are often found in these sets.  These are th
e foot (narrow) hemmer, the ruffler, the adjustable hemmer, the binder, the quilting foot and the tucker.
None of the parts have any Singer ID, which seems to be common for the earliest pieces.  The only one with any part number is the narrow hemmer, with # 28789 stamped on the back.  Also interesting to note is that this item isn't mentioned in the LIST of attachments in the manual, but is the
    first attachment
whose use is explained in the following pages from the same manual.  I wonder whether this was a later "add on" that Singer didn't add to the list, but only to the instructions?  Another Singer mystery, lost in time...
This group of accessories also features the underbraider, so that the next owner can take full advantage of the quilting foot.
The list also shows a Singer bias gauge for use in cutting consistent bias strips of fabric with your scissors.
Also included is a shirring plate, and a seam guide which is from "back in the day" when they were called cloth guides.  The
    bed screw
for attaching this piece is present - sorry this didn't make any pictures.  I've also added 3 class 66 metal bobbins which work on the 66-1 and a packet of vintage Singer needles - see the last 2 pictures.
Also offered here are the large and small loop screwdrivers, and the stiletto - these are often missing, especially the stiletto.  The
    large screwdriver
has the Singer ID and part number, but the other screwdriver is unbranded, as most of these items were in the very early days.  The stiletto is branded Dritz, and is useful for the purpose of pushing or pulling your material through the needle area.
Also included, from my stash, is a COPY of an early manual for the Model 66-1 that shows the back-clamping feet and how to use them.  There are 28 loose pages, for the new owner to put together as they may choose.  Most of t
    hese accessories are in
    GOOD TO VERY GOOD
used condition, with minor marks of age and use.  A couple of the items have some tiny rust spots.
They will come carefully packed in the genuine Singer attachments b
    ox seen in the pictures.
This can be your chance to own these useful accessories for your beloved vintage Singer!
