Some information on Ms. Maxey:
"Virginia "Ginny" Maxey (b. 1923) was lead vocalist for the bands of Ziggy Elman, Charlie Barnet and Tony Pastor. She also filled in for Paula Kelly with the Modernaires. Maxey appeared in a few feature films, including Catalina Interlude and Big Sister Blues (both 1948). In 1953, she married pop music composer Matt Dennis; they were married almost half a century until his death in 2002. Maxey proved her own mettle as a songwriter with "We've Reached the Point of No Return," "Snuggle Up, Baby" and "You Can Believe Me."
