This listing is for a Good condition, pre-owned, Vintage Hand-Painted Ceramic "Parakeet in Tree" Figural Hanging Wall Pocket Planter.
Produced in Japan for export.  Manufacturer not firmly established.  Estimated circa 1930-1940's (+/-).
Piece exhibits reasonable signs of handling, use and wear, consistent with age and normal use.  Item has only been lightly surface cleaned.
Hand-Painted highlights are reasonably well-detailed and well-applied.  Colors are crisp and bright.
No chips, cracks, or other known defects beyond those noted below.
Piece exhibits uniform, fine-grained crazing on all surfaces as shown in photos.
Minor mineral deposits and water marks noted on interior surfaces.  Deposits appear to be removable.
May exhibit minor flea bites, brush marks, decorating, glazing, or mold blemishes.  Minor glaze flake on tail noted as shown in photos.
Item measures 3 3/4" wide x 2 1/2" deep x 6 1/2" high.
