Vintage Novelty Wall Pocket Porcelain Japan Mid Century

Description

Up for auction a vintage porcelain novelty wall pocket, made in Japan, about 1950s-1960s.
The pocket measures 5 1/4" high from top to bottom, 3" wide from side to side, 1 1/4" thick at the base and weighs 6.2 ounces prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in 7x7x3 box.
This piece is in good used vintage condition without cracks or repairs.  The color glaze has a couple of scratches and rubs on the hat and pants and has a couple of skips and drips on the sides.  There is paint splatters, mostly on the bottom, that will need additional cleaning.  On the back edge, at the top, is a small flake in the porcelain.
