The actual clip on the back does have a fair amount of wear on the back side and is silver, while the inside of the clip is gold (see photos).

    Description

    Beautiful, rare dress clip with golden leaves and large sapphire glass fruit, dating to the 1930s, signed KTF.  The setting is in good condition with some mild typical/expected wear including scuffing and some small areas of loss to the gold wash on high points of leaves (see photo 5). The actual clip on the back does have a fair amount of wear on the back side and is silver, while the inside of the clip is gold (see photos).  I have found other examples of this clip in N&N Jewelry archive which also show silver-backed clips: https://www.trifari.com/reflinks/tkf5957.html .  The piece measures about 1 1/4" high by about 1 3/8" wide.  It is really a lovely piece and an unusual find.
