Absolutely stunning estate find. This is a signed LDemaria piece and it is also signed Made in Italy. Sonia Demaria was a designer that had a jewelry line called Ldemaria. I could not find much jewelry history on this line but I did find just a little bit to know that she made a line called Ldemaria.
This big cat panther/jaguar necklace is adorned head to toe with clear round crystals and black enameling. It has emerald green eyes and an emerald green accent stone at the clasp area near the mouth. After painstakingly going over this entire piece I found that all crystals are present. The enameling is in nice condition and the clasps, one at the front and one at the back end, both clasp and hold. I uploaded a photo of this around my own neck so you could see how beautiful it really is as the bust form didn't do it justice. The cat is also articualted! The head moves and bends and the body moves and bends too. Simply well made and just gorgeous!!
