Vintage Antique Singer Sewing Machine Machinist Stool, Adjustable Height Seat

For sale is this beautiful and rare Singer sewing stool, circa 1930 (as best I can tell). Cast iron machinist/sewing stool from the Singer company featuring a heavy die-cast iron base that holds a swivel mechanism to adjust the seating height. Beautiful old timber top showing signs of age with less wear than I’d expect, stool top has what I believe to be it’s original buttery nut finish.
Overall this stool displays beautifully. The tapered middle stem is in excellent shape, it has developed patina over time. When I say patina, I do not mean rust, I mean the metal has darkened over the century as you would expect. The base is black and appears to be as original. The cast iron base not cracked or damaged. The screw that adjusts the seat raises and lowers with ease, it does not have a catch to it and appears to be excellent.

Measurements-
-At its fully extended height, it is 31 1/4 inches from the floor to the top of the seat.
-At its lowest height of adjustment, it is 20 1/2” from the floor to the top of the seat.
-The base is about 12 1/2 across in diameter.
-The seat is 12 1/4” across in diameter.
These stools are heavy and they were made that way to be sturdy and safe for the user. It weighs in at 23.5 lbs.
