Vintage 1948 BURRITE GREEN PITCHER Hinged Oval Lid Watering Can Art Deco Retro
A unique find estate find and in research discovered some facts about the item.  This was manufactured in 1948 by Burroughs Manufacturing Corp and the Artist is Charles M. Burroughs.  There is a similar pitcher located in the Brooklyn Museum listed as Pitcher, Burrite Design Model #123.  It is made of hard plastic and approximately 8 1/8 x 7 3/4 x 3 1/8 in.   It can be used in a variety of ways as a decorative pitcher, water can, as a retro or art deco collectible item.
This item is in used vintage condition.  There are signs wear, marks, scuffs due to use, age and storage.  Also, the top plastic part that would open the spout has corner plastic chip and wear.  There is a piece of plastic broken off the lined piece under the handle part.  Close up photos are listed.   Although with some of its imperfections, it is a unique and cool vintage retro collectible pitcher.
