There is some signs of wear and use on the inside as well as outside, there was some rusting on the spout but cleans well. I did not try to remove it as I noticed when I went to clean it to list. It can be remedied and is not major rusting. There is some chips along the rim, can see in photos. I put this away once I got back on coffee and haven’t used since then. it’s a beautiful item and made incredibly well. The green color was hard to acquire as its in high demand and often out of stock in shops. I love this teapot but don’t have use for it. Time to give it a new home. 7/10 condition.

    Description

Staub Enameled Cast Iron Round Tea Kettle
    Retail: 9.95 – 5
Staub's innovative enamel coating takes cast-iron cooking to the next level with improved performance, style and durability. In a beautiful stovetop-to-table design, this enameled cast-iron kettle heats liquids slowly and keeps them warm long after it's removed from heat.
    1-qt. cap.
Heavyweight enameled cast iron transfers and retains heat evenly.
Multicoat enameling creates glossy, vibrantly colored "majolique" finish that resembles fine ceramics.
Matte Black selection features multi-coat enameling with low-gloss matte finish.
Resistant to rust, chipping and cracking, coating requires no additional seasoning like some other cast-iron pieces.
