    . Gorgeous color of Paraiba Tourmaline  and much nicer in hand. Camera is picking up a blue colors, however there is  also a green tone. True color is an electric blue/green and in  direct sun it is green with blue flash. This is not CZ, this material has all  the same properties as natural Spinel.
    The RI or Refractive Index is 1.761 to 1.763.
    The stone is cut is a round Portuguese cut. Extremely brilliant stone. This is a competition style cut and polished stone, polished on a Ceramic lap (You just haven't seen a bright gem until you have seen one polished on a Ceramic lap. Generally only competition cutters use these polishing laps. Very difficult to use but when used correctly produces the flattest facets with the brightest polish).
    The piece is much nicer in hand  and truly a super stone. Nice size and will make a gorgeous piece of jewelry or for collection. Cutting by Sant.
