    Beautiful vintage stocking darner in blackside (black) color for your
    Singer Sewing Machine Featherweight 221, 221-1, 221K and 222K
    Vintage Simanco/Singer. Made in the USA.
    The darner is # 35774 and the box is # 35776 (this is normal for this attachment)
    Used for mending stockings on Singer's "lockstitch family sewing machines."
    "SIMANCO U.S.A." stamped on the blackside frame.
    This part is over 80 years old and looks almost new. I'm not sure if it was ever used!
    The beautiful "blackside" finish came out during WWII when chrome was reserved for military use.
    The instruction manual is complete
    and readable.
