This RARE t-shirt is from the Seattle Grunge Lords, NIRVANA. It was from 1991 and was a promotional shirt designed to call attention to the band's signing with Geffen (DGC) Records. It was such a
sought-after
shirt, that Wild Oats subsequently licensed the design to sell to the general public. However, the Wild Oats shirts did not reprint the Geffen Company logo that you can see on the left sleeve. Ultimately, Giant Merchandising would buy Wild Oats to get their roster of artists including Nirvana. Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic could do no wrong until Cobain's untimely suicide in 1994. SO, t
his is one of the absolutely rarest official Nirvana shirts.  It is a beautiful, two-sided, screen-printed, single-stitched,100% cotton, vintage, licensed, Extra Large, Hanes Beefy-T. The artwork and coloration on this shirt is absolutely gorgeous...no fading, no stains, no spots, no holes. However there is a little bit of cracking from its age.
This one is brand new and has never been worn or washed. This is a design silk-screened onto the shirt and not just a digital photo reproduction bootleg that you see on eBay from China, Indonesia and Bulgaria. Look at this label. It is THE REAL THING!!
Pit to pit 21" Neck to hem 30.5" collar to hem 33.5"  There is no dry rot in this shirt.
This is from a huge collection of vintage, licensed t-shirts from a closed record store, that have been in storage for over 25 years. They have never been worn or washed but may be a little dusty. And they are guaranteed against dry rot. Shipping will be by insured Priority Mail.
