Naturally Shaped Holey Surf-Tumbled Beach Stone, Pendant Necklace

This stone was tumbled by tides and time courtesy of Mother Ocean.
Collected by me along the shores of the Treasure Coast.
This stone is approximately 7/8 x 1 1/8 inch in gray..
The natural hole accommodates the leather necklace
wrap and still has over 1/4” hole to look through.
The necklace in the photos is the very one you will receive.
The long necklace is genuine leather (20”) with comfort fit chain (2 1/2”)
extension total of 22 1/2”.
Findings are nickel free. Easy lobster clasp.
Hag stones have occupied myth and magic folklore for centuries.
But what are Hag Stones? Hag stones are stones that have a naturally
occurring hole inside them. These stones are often found along the
coastal points, beaches, and streams. These holes occur from the
elements beating down upon them over many years.  There are also
speculations that these mysterious stones may have been formed by
a “worm hole”. A Hag stone is also known as a Witch Stone or Adder
Stone or Holey Stone and has quite a bit of lore and many magical
properties associated with them.  Part of the folklore is that if you look
through the holes you can see fairies.
