    Herkimer diamonds are a variety of extremely clear and sparkly double-terminated quartz crystal found in Herkimer, New York. Often double-terminated Tibetan quartz is falsely identified as Herkimer diamonds, but Herkimer diamonds only come from Herkimer, New York.
