    Welcome to my listing for a lot of 12 unused two-part
    metal rivets
    , of the type used to reinforce pocket corners and stress points in the fabric of blue jeans, that are embossed with "
    L.S.&CO S.F
    ." -- short for
    Levi Strauss
    & Company of San Francisco. They are made of an unidentified metal in a light brass tone finish. They appear to be usable (the pieces are not bent or crushed) but they do have an occasional speck of scuffing or manufacturing irregularity. I don't know much about the origin of these rivets, but I got them in San Francisco, home of Levis HQ, and I think they might be either samples or production over-runs from sometime in the last 25 years. Interesting items for crafting or clothing repair, or as Levis collectibles.
