Description
A rare and beautiful bisque like paint finish hanging cornucopia wall pocket.The colors shades from pale yellow to pale orange.
Top edge is delicately detailed with gold paint.
Locke & Co produced porcelain from 1896 to 1914 at Shrub Hill Works in Worcester. They were taken over by Worcester Royal Porcelain.
Stamp on back says: Locke & Co. Ltd. Worcester, England.
The number 129-A at the top left looks original while the #47 below the stamping was added on a piece of clear tape (probably the Lot # at auction)
There is also a tiny squiggle that looks like the letter N which is in the same color as the front (probably the artist's initial)
Circa 1898-1902.
Very fine and delicate, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
