Jess Stacy (1904-1995) signed handwritten letter. Also includes the mailing envelope, with Stacy's address printed on back, postmarked 1978. He mentions Benny Goodman, whose health is failing, and Jazz Magazine editor Derek Collar, who Stacy clearly doesn't trust. 7" x 9", Very Good to Excellent condition.
This is part of the collection of Jeff Atterton, a historian of Jazz who was friends with many of the great Jazz musicians of the '40s and '50s.
