That's What Happens When You Fall in Love
with music by Jones and words by Gus Kahn, signed by Isham Jones at the top of the first page, 4 pages, about 9 ½ by 12 ¼ inches, in very good condition as the manuscript had once been folded in half.  With the manuscript is a single sheet of paper and a small envelope with words for the song written in pencil, probably by Jones but possibly by Kahn.  There are a few differences in the words from the manuscript. The song was copyrighted with the Library of Congress on April 6, 1929.  I acquired this manuscript with others by Isham Jones that had been stored in a foot locker for over 60 years following the death of Jones in 1956.  (I have attached photos of the first and fourth pages of the manuscript and the first and third pages of song lyrics (page 2 is on the back of page 1) so the buyer will be the only one to see the full pieces.)  The song was never recorded by anyone and never published as sheet music.   My conclusion is that the manuscript is unknown in music circles and most likely the only copy of the song in existence.
