I offer this whistle for the benefit of this folks out there who want the same high quality whistle that was used in the past, and also fir folks who aren’t in need of an original, which if you have not already noticed, is currently, as of 5/21/21, selling for over 500 dollars.
I use this same model whistle every day on my UPS route, to anounce package deliveries in the North San Diego are...   And yes, on occasion this stimulates conversation or fond memories from folks that remember the Helm's bakery Truck coming to their Los Angeles area neighborhood, all those years ago.
