    Description

Original signatures of Frank Sinatra and Joe E. Lewis circa 1965.  Two table cards from Harry's American Bar at the Hotel Eden Roc in Miami, each measuring 4" x 6 1/4" signed individually to Ruth - one by FRANK SINATRA adding "For Ruth" and the other by comedian JOE E. LEWIS adding "Hi Ruth." Signed boldly in pencil. See scans! I am including TWO vintage news wire photo of Sinatra and Lewis. Condition of the photos is fair and includes some wrinkling and weathering throughout, but pair well with the original signatures. Sinatra and Lewis were friends and Sinatra portrayed Lewis in the 1957 film "The Joker Is Wild." Lewis also made his last film appearance in Sinatra's movie "Lady In Cement" (filmed in Miami) in 1968.  The tie-ins between Sinatra and Lewis are numerous and Sinatra always used to reference Lewis on stage speaking of Lewis' drinking prowess. The story from the original owner of these signatures said that his parents were in Harry's American Bar at the Hotel Eden Roc in Miami in 1965 when they noticed Sinatra and Lewis. The couple approached the pair and they gladly signed the table cards. These are the real deal.

Here is your opportunity to own a vintage Frank Sinatra signature – an original autograph from the prime of his career. Vintage, authentic Sinatra signatures are very rare! This is a must-have piece for the serious Sinatra collector. Also, a unique opportunity to own a vintage Sinatra signature that can be pegged to a specific time period and location!
A terrific investment - the signature of a legend.
Many people try to sell Sinatra signatures – some authentic, but must not authentic. Do your research before you buy a Sinatra signature. Rule of thumb – if the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Consult with industry experts like third party authenticators or individuals who have been collecting Sinatra signatures for over 20 years (like me) if you are unsure or have doubts.
Sinatra was a willing autograph signer throughout his career (60+ years), however many forgeries and secretarial signatures exist in the market today. It is widely known that Sinatra utilized secretaries to deal with his mail correspondence, including autograph requests, as far back as 1939-1940. Many (some would argue MOST) of the Sinatra signatures you see for sale in the market today are classic examples of secretarial signatures from the 1970's - 1990's or outright forgeries. Do not take on the risk of buying a Sinatra signature that you do not have confidence in. Look for signatures that have credible background and provenance being sold by a seller you trust.
Sales tax applied and collected directly by eBay, where applicable.
