head joint it belongs to a series of head joints

. The
Nickel Silver
tube has been
Silver Plated
.
Interestingly enough, the
Gold Plating
on the
Lip Plate
and
Interior
of the tube has a substantial and very positive effect on the sonics of the head joint and therefore on the entire flute.
This head joint allows the beginning/advancing player to upgrade his/her flute without having to purchase a new instrument.
