AMAZING! 1916 William S Haynes Granadilla Wood,Open G, D Flat Piccolo

I recently acquired a WM. S. Haynes piccolo, I did write the company and was given the following info from them .
“Our records show that the piccolo was originally manufactured and shipped in May, 1916. It is a granadilla wooden piccolo in the key of D flat.” Open G
It was own by a gentleman that played for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
I did have a professional player try it out and he was very excited and said it had awesome tone.
The original band part for Stars and Stripes was written for Db piccolo and actually makes it quite a bit easier to play. It’s strange that we don’t use both C and Db instruments more in order to facilitate awkward keys and fingerings the way clarinetists do with their Bb and A clarinets. High Bb on a great Db piccolo is much more secure and pleasing to play than a high B natural on almost any pic.

Payment must be received within 48 hours of purchase, however if this is not possible, please let me know ahead of time to discuss possible solutions. I reserve the right not to ship until payment is received via Paypal.
If payment is not received within 4 days of purchase then a Non Paying Buyer Dispute  will be filed, and 7 days later a final fee credit lodged.
You will be notified on the day that your goods have been shipped via eBay tracking information.
Goods will be shipped within 48 hrs of cleared fund, subject to the conditions listed.
