1927 HAYNES FLUTE- STERLING SILVER - Handmade 4 digit Serial # 9631,Tunning =442

Description

Handmade 1927 Open Holed original scale equals 435, new scale equals 442 changed in 1950. Flute is very limited in use over the years.
This flute was serviced April 2021, services completed are as follows.
Completely repadded.
MFD and replaced Eb cork.
Freed and serviced Trill Keys link.
New tuning cork
Tarnish removal
Tightened springs
Adjust key linkage
All work completed by local brass and Woodwind Repair Service Center. Receipt for work done will be shipped with flute.
In the 1950s the flute was tuned to modern standards, person working on flute that provided the service was quoted saying, "It sounds like angels in its third register"
The instrument was thoroughly sterilized and cleaned after it was serviced and tested.
The case has extra space possibly for Piccolo? Very good condition all the buckles and snaps and straps are intact and function as they should. I encourage any questions or requests for photographs I will certainly oblige.
