A tough 1909 O barber quarter in extra fine condition. It carries very sharp details throughout both sides with a fully readable liberty visible on the obverse. The reverse also holds excellent definition with a great deal of feathers remaining on the eagle.
This New Orleans Mint date is seldom ever offered in this condition or higher. We believe the color of this coin indicates it has likely had an old cleaning at some point in time. It is one of the toughest dates to find in this grade level for the entire barber quarter series.
